The Propagation of Spiritism Will Go Through 4 Distinct Phases:

1. CURIOSITY
Phase wherein rappings played the most important role in order to call attention to the phenomena, and open the way. (Mid 1800s)

2. OBSERVATION
This phase will cover the philosophical period wherein Spiritism is deepened and purified, a time when the doctrine will tend towards unity and constitute itself into a science.

3. ADMISSION
During this phase, Spiritism will become an official category among the beliefs universally known.

It has happened in the year 2000! The Spiritist Movement was an official participant at the United Nations August 28th-31st, 2000, Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders. Spiritist Leaders invited who participated in this Summit: Divaldo Pereira Franco; Nestor Masotti, for the International Spiritist Council; Juvanir Borges de Souza, for the Brazilian Spiritist Federation (Federação Espírita Brasileira - FEB); Vanderlei Marques, for the United States Spiritist Council; and Charles Kempf, for the Union Spirite Française et Francophone." http://www.millenniumpeacesummit.org/mwps_about.html

4. INFLUENCE OVER THE SOCIAL ORDER
Phase wherein humanity, under the influence of these ideas, will enter into a new moral path. This influence today [written in Sept. 1858] is individual; later it will act over the masses for the general welfare.
