The International Spiritist Council will be promoting the 5th World Spiritist Congress in the city of Cartagena, Colombia. This event is scheduled for October 10, 11, 12 and 13 of 2007 and will have the support of the Spiritist Federation of Colombia and the Atlantic Coast Spiritist Federation.

The Cartagena de Indias Convention Center was inagurated in 1982 with the XVIII Asembly of the Interamerican Development Bank. It is estimated that during the following 17 years it received two million visitors.
